Can you drink the leaves inside those green tea sachets (teabags) ? and would there be any benefit to it? thanks!

There’s really no benefit.
After dipping the bag in hot water, the leaves are soaked and gross. The flavor is pulled out of them by the hot water.
Imagine drinking a cup with grass in it, and you will get the basic idea.
