They are nature&#039;s most perfect food and should be making up most of what you eat. The porridge breakfast is a great one, and fruit is good too. When eating meat always try to make sure it&#039;s always the white variety - chicken or fish. I&#039;m guessing your main problem is with carbohydrates - brown bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes are all very nice, but they need to be limited, and they should never make up the bulk of every meal. All carbohydrates are quickly broken down to sugar inside your body, which will definitely be working against your weight loss goals. 

One good tip I can give you for consuming your daily veggies is to make smoothies with them. That way you can drink them down and make them taste a lot nicer. They are also very filling.
